I’m also impressed by the efforts to move things over and I may even poke around in the new version once it’s finally up and running. – Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram are shut down.ĪrcheAge is still my one and only MMO experience so I’m happy to see it continue on, even if I haven’t touched it since 2015.

The game data transfer is ongoing and should soon be complete! You can find your transfer code in the account section on Glyph. Additionally, the Free Trial for ArcheAge: Unchained ends. Keep in mind that starting today, the CS Support for game inquiries ends as well. The pair have issued joint communications to existing players of ArcheAge with steps to link and transfer character data from one platform to the other with the game coming back online some time after December 1st. Gamigo announced on November 4th that ArcheAge and its 2019 update, ArcheAge: Unchained, will be leaving both Steam and the Glyph platform on December 1st, 2021.īut instead of shutting down completely Gamigo is transferring publishing rights to Kakao Games, subsidiary of South Korea’s internet services, social and games provider, Kakao. It’s not rare at all to hear about a long-running MMO shutting down, but it does seem like a unique occurrence for one to change publishers and bring player characters and inventory to a new host.
